I studied biology at the University of Neuchâtel with main focus in ecology and systematic of plants, animals and insects, for later on doing my master in evolutionary entomology. I obtained my PhD degree also at the same University in tritrophic interactions (i.e. the chemically mediated relationships of plants, herbivores, and their predators). After a civil service in Bolivia with the Guaraní, I started working as post-doc at Cornell University under the supervision of Anurag Agrawal.
